Maria was quite unresponsive from my first inquiry. It took a while for her to respond that she would be available to board my dogs for a long weekend. The day prior to boarding, I reached out to Maria to confirm time for drop off. I never heard back. The morning of drop off I called her twice, I messaged her on this app, I called Rover support. No one could get a hold of her. I had to scramble in the two hours I had left before scheduled stay to find a new sitter with the help of Rover. I was living as Maria’s complete silence almost ruined my weekend plans. Two hours after the dogs found their weekend home, I got multiple texts from Maria while I was on the road, asking me when I was going to drop off the dogs! She then apologized and explained that her Internet is malfunctioning. That does not explain the lack of response to my phone calls. She has had good reviews here and I thought it would be a good fit. Clearly, if you are not reachable in any way, fail to disclose that you’re running into Internet and phone issues all at once, then there is no way I can entrust you with my dogs while I’m miles away.

Maria was so great and really gave us piece of mind over the long weekend we were away! Came back to our home and pup just the way we left them. Would definitely hire her again!
