Pet care experience
I'm a traveling nurse, Army Reserve nurse, and Mom to an American Staffordshire Terrier named Ace. Ace is unable to travel with me, so Rover allows me to fill that void while I'm away. I love all dogs but have a soft spot for large dogs and bully breeds. I'm also open to caring for cats and/or other pets if needed. Previously, I've cared for fish, filled outdoor hummingbird feeders, and cared for a hamster once as well. I'm comfortable with administering medications too. For bookings, I prefer to stay within a 12-mile radius of my home. However, I do consider requests outside of this radius as long as you agree to pay the current IRS standard mileage for any miles over 12. House stays are negotiable since I won't be driving to and from home each day.

Maria is amazing. She took care of our fur-children as if they were her own. Her photo updates were a welcome sight throughout our trip, and we felt quite secure knowing the animals were in good hands.
I have worked with Maria on several occasions. Cannot speak highly enough regarding the level of care, attention to detail, and exercise that Maria provides. She easily manages two large Rhodesian Ridgebacks with ease. I always come home to happy pups. She is the first dog sitter that when I leave on work trips, I do not worry about either my house or the dogs. I highly recommend her services.
Maria was wonderful to work with! She kept in touch with messages and pictures. I had no doubt at all that she was taking care of my babies the same that she would take care of her own. ❤
Maria was EXCELLENT!! Glad she was available on short notice and even came to where I was staying for work and gave updates on how my dogs were doing. Will definitely book again next time I am in town!!

Are there any areas that I should not pet or attempt to touch on your dog (for example, my dog freaks out when you try to grab his feet)? Are there any areas of your home or yard that are off-limits for your dog? What is your dog's feeding schedule - and medication regimen if applicable? Is your dog current on all vaccinations to include kennel cough? Is your dog on flea & tick preventative? Who is your veterinarian and/or emergency contact?
A typical day
I can walk/jog on any well lit sidewalk in your neighborhood, or am willing to go to a park for some trails if that's what your pup likes. Also open to taking your dog to a dog park if there's one that you like that is local.
