I fell in love with animals at a young age. When I adopted my first dog I knew right then that I wanted a career where I could work with animals. I graduated from Cal Poly with a bachelors degree in Animal Science. During my undergrad career I learned about basic animal health and behavior. While in college I had the wonderful opportunity to pet sit and walk various dogs and cats. This was the perfect job for me because I was able to combine two of my passions: staying active and caring for animals. While pet sitting I made sure to implement specific plans of care for specific pet needs. This included following specific nutrition and medical plans. Overall I ensured that the pets had an enjoyable, safe experience, and were well attended to in the absence of their owners.
