Pet care experience
I've taken care of dogs since I was a little kid. I have three dogs and two cats in my home country! Right now I'm sitting a friends dog for a couple of months while they travel but she is very respectfull, sweet and friendly! She tries to avoid problems by all means so you don't have to worry about this. I'm so excited to get to spend time with your pet! A hobby of mine is taking dog training courses and watching videos about positive reinforcement haha! If you have a puppy or even an adult dog I'll be happy to do some fun training during my time with him/her! I have taken care of a couple of my friend's dogs and I would say they have a great time with me and I with them :)

I am not usually one to leave reviews but MarÃa deserves 100 stars. She was beyond incredible with my puppy. She kept me up to date, sent videos, pictures and was incredibly helpful. Anyone who chooses maria as their Dog sitter is making the best choice by far. She is AMAZING
Maria went above and beyond when watching our dog Turbo! It was our first time not having family watch him while we were away and Maria made us feel so comfortable leaving our boy with her. She took him to a park to play fetch, had him swimming (which he rarely ever does, and even taught him a few tricks!! She kept us updated with pictures and videos

Let me know about your dog's behavior, what things he/she might be reactive to (other dogs, strange people...) so I can set your dog up for success! It's also important for me to know if your dog is impulsive about some things like iguanas, squirrels, etc so I can be prepared for your dog getting all crazy about that haha. And if your dogs recall is bad also let me know.
A typical day
I love to give the dogs I sit new mental challenges that can stimulate him/her mentally! -Hide a toy and making him use their nose to find it, giving them a toy with treats or its food in it, using a rolled towel to give them their meal, etc...- I love to take them out on walks in parks or areas far from cars (e.g., I love going to the FIU biscayne bay campus!) And if your dog loves water he/she will have an amazing time with me :)

Availability
I'm currently a Master’s student in Marine Biology, so my schedule is pretty flexible! I go to classes twice a week and the rest of the time I'll be spending time with your pet.
