People describe me as: Reliable, trustworthy, & friendly😁 TLDR/Short answer: for 14 years, I’ve done: • walking, leash training 🦮 • general training 🐕‍🦺 • administering RX medicine/heartworm/flea&tick 💊 • grooming: bathing, brushing, trimming nails, brushing teeth 🧼 • feeding 🥩 • playtime/cuddles 🥰 • photography for adoption 📸 • volunteer: animal shelters, bottle feeding, kitten rescue, finding good adoptive homes, animal trapping to get strays fixed. 😎 • cleanup - I’m super good with picking up after a pet makes a mess - big or small. 🤪 Long answer: Since I was 10 years old, I’ve taken care of animals. I’m 27 now. I trained my dog Ziggy myself and he knew all of the basic commands plus a few tricks that would entertain guests. 🤪I also administered heartworm medicine and flea medicine to him every single month because my siblings were uninterested and I was more involved in his life than my mom. He was my best friend. I made sure that he was fed and had a clean water bowl. I gave him walks almost every single day and eventually trained him to run alongside my bike because he loved to go fast. I brushed his teeth and removed plague buildup with a tooth pick. I cut his nails regularly, being sure not to hit the quick of the claw. I started volunteering at the animal shelter at the age of 12 years old so I’ve worked with many different dog breeds, sizes, and ages. At the animal shelter I would walk the dogs, give them baths, train them, and give them food and water. I also volunteer at the Dallas animal shelter. I’ve rescued about 35 kittens and bottle fed them, litter trained them, found them great homes, and gave them lots of love. There’s a neighborhood cat that comes up to me for pets. Hahah I’ve also dog sat many times overnight as well. I gave one dog nausea medicine, bathed her, took her on walks every day, and gave her food and water. The owner was shocked because she was super calm with me, but usually throws a fit when it’s bath time. My favorites are fur-babies, but I’ve also cared for aquatic turtles and fish. People would say I’m really good with animals - I love them! I’m also a very clean person, so I’d be sure to clean up any pet messes/bag them. For my old roommate, he would pay me to pick up after his dog in the yard. I would routinely change out the cat litter when I would clean houses, so I know how to pick up after your fur baby as well! I am not able to host at this time, so I can come to you! Typically, I just stay in rooms that the pet owner tells me are available for me to either sleep overnight or care for the pet.
