Pet care experience
I’ve had 15 years of experience as a pet walker and pet sitter for friends and family. I’ve successfully watched over furry babies ranging from fish, hamsters, cats, small 15lb dogs and large 50+lb dogs. I’m experienced in keeping a regular feeding and medication schedule, trimming and grinding down nails, cleaning dog and cat ears, and bathing both dogs and cats.

I have a routine with my own Belgian shepherd. We go for morning walks, and when he has breakfast I have him trained to wait for his ok command to eat. With my clients I can walk and follow the dogs training, depending on what they need. If there’s no specific commands involved I like to practice basic sit and wait commands too. I also carry my own high value treats to help dogs focus. (I never carry chicken flavored ones since it’s a common allergen.)

Let me know if your dog needs extra attention, or if there is any aggression in the past so I know how to handle a potentially triggering situation. For example: a corgi I watch over often is very reactive toward big dogs so I know to keep a tighter hold on him or cross the street when we pass by large dogs.
A typical day
I love being interactive with the pets I watch. For dogs this could mean playing some brain games or going outside for long walks and supervised play with my dog. For cats, I have tons of toys that can engage their instincts and catnip in different forms for them to enjoy.

I currently work full time from home as a freelance artist and make my own schedule. This means I am be available during the majority of mornings, days, and evenings to come hang out and take care of your babies!
