Pets aren't just pets, they're our family. I have 15+ years of experience caring for pets, 10 of those years being sitting jobs for friends and family. From reinforcing training with puppies to administering medicine and physical assistance to senior dogs. I worked in a doggy daycare for two years where it was essential to get to know each owner, each dog, and learn their likes, dislikes, and needs. I love to learn how each dog likes to play, their favorite toy, and how to engage with them in a constructive and positive manner, regardless of age, energy, or physical ability. Dogs really are our best friends ❤️

She kept our dogs schedule and administered medication as requested. A visit was made prior to go over details and the care was appreciated. Our dog warmed up to her and they were cozy in no time.
Maria has been Blue’s first dog walker! She did a great job at making him feel comfortable. She even took the time to come meet him before her first walk. Blue has done much better in his crate (no more accidents) since Maria has been walking him. We appreciate it and will be using her going forward!
On short notice, Maria agreed to a dog walk and a house visit while we traveled out of town. Nico became acclimated to her very quickly and as we drove out we could see that our boy was doing great with her. We will definitely use her services again.
Maria is very kind and conscientious care giver. Very responsive to messages and gave us updates while we were gone. Both our cats took to her very quickly. We won’t hesitate to contact her for future pet sitting needs.

At my clients homes I appreciate clear instructions on any special needs for pets. When I'm sitting dogs I love to take them on walks or play outback so we both get our exercise. Cats I love to try to interact with as much as their interested, including playtime and 15 minutes scratches. I especially enjoy cuddle time with all pets! I appreciate any extra details about a dog's personality that is unique to them ahead of time. Does something make them grumpy? Do they not like certain ways to play or walk or have certain smells in the house? Each pup and kitty is unique. Knowing a little about their personalities prepares me for our time together.
A typical day
I take time to get to know the pup I'm sitting and speaking with their owners before do deciding the best way to interact with them. Energetic pups who need a lot of play time I love taking on walks, going to the dog park, or having fun on trails. Senior dogs need a bit more care. I love to be at home with them, play in the backyard and get in them floor with them so they feel loved and we play with their favorite toys. Overall I like to learn about their personalities, their needs and cater to them as best as I can.
