Hello:) I’m Maria/Mia I live in Jacksonville I recently moved here from Oahu and decided to start pet sitting again! I have 2 Pomeranians at home in Washington who are staying with my parents while I am living here. I come from a family who are all huge animal lovers and I grew up on a 112 acre farm surrounded by animals, snakes, chickens, geckos, dogs, turkeys, goats, sheep, horses, cows, llamas, ducks, cats, mice, hamsters, fish and I’ve owned rats before as well. I’m currently taking a year off before I go into my last year of Vet school and I’m hoping to expand my pet sitting to NC now that I’m here and settled in. Animals are my favorite beings in the world and I can’t wait to meet you and yours! I’ve also worked with dogs who have behavioral issues so I can handle most any pups ◡̈

I have booked Maria to walk my dog multiple times and she has been great! She’s good at sending photos/updates and is very communicative!
She was amazing with Sir. She walked him took pics ensured he ate and got his water break and kept me informed so will book her again in the future

I have a fenced yard and a pretty good amount of space for your dog (or cat) to run around in inside. I love to hike and take walks multiple times a day, running is also something I’ve recently started to love so if you have a high energy dog I’d love to wear them out on a run.

I’d like a brief run down on any behavioral issues or things of note that aren’t standard for both dogs and cats, I also really like knowing some things your pet enjoys so I can help them to feel as safe and comfortable as they can while in my care.
A typical day
I like to pick walks depending on the age and size of the dog, younger and larger breeds I enjoy taking on moderate to semi intense walks or runs to make sure they’re getting a really good amount of energy out, smaller dogs or older dogs I try to keep it shorter but not too short.
