Pet care experience
I’ve had dogs in my house since I was a little kid, and I’ve been an active part of their maintenance and care since I was 12. I’ve dealt with everything starting from puppies to elderly dogs who only want naps.

Maria was an amazing hostess. She communicated well and kept me informed at all times with text and pictures. We will definitely leave out dog there when traveling again. He was so spoiled that when we went to get him, he did not wanted to leave ?. Thank you Maria!

I live in a friendly neighborhood, with plenty of green areas for dogs to do their necessities. It’s safe and perfect for daily runs and there are a few parks around that are worth visiting if a dog is particularly energetic. I live with my husband who is also a dog lover and our little Jack russel chihuahua dog. He’s our precious little baby boy. He’s not very playful, he instead just stares at other dogs playing. I only take one dog at a time, mostly as a matter of safety for them. I want to be able to care for them properly.

I’d like to know if they are house trained/potty trained and if they need any medication to be provided for them while they are staying with me. If you usually take them to parks, I’d like to know if I have your permission to take them as well and if they have all their vaccines and preventative medication up to date. I’d also like to know if they have issues with separation anxiety and what methods are used at home to cope. As a rule of thumb, I never leave dogs by themselves for more than 3 hours and keep cameras at home to check in on them.
A typical day
We can go on walks around the neighborhood, where there are plenty of areas for dogs to do their necessities. There are some parks in the area, for dogs who need longer walks.

I’m working part time and studying for my USMLE exams. So I’m mostly at home and available to help when needed. I am not looking for on going long-term set schedules unless we live close by. But I can pet sit if you decide to go on a trip at any time.
