Although I only began my pet care business in January 2018, as a teenager I started pet sitting in the neighborhood and then moved into rescuing the neighborhood feline strays and finding them homes. In college I adopted my first cat, and have never been without cats since. Later I rescued a German Shepherd...the best dog ever, who was my loyal friend and companion for nearly 17 years. You can see Jake and his feline brother in my profile pictures. Some day I will rescue another dog but for now it’s just me and my felines. I cannot imagine a world without our fur friends. I am a 13 year U.S. Army/Army Reserves veteran living in South Tampa who formerly worked in management for a global corporate company and decided to change careers after the Tampa office closed during a merger. When I am not taking care of fur babies I mostly enjoy hiking, kayaking and other outdoor activities. Please note when my profile says I am available for a particular day; I may not be available during the precise time that you need. So please reach out to me as soon as you know you are going to need my services so I can reserve a time for you. :-) I have a large fenced yard and am located close to the dog park and walking trails for those dogs who enjoy lots of exercise. Additionally, I work with a few other experienced pet sitters. Some pets, rescues in particular, are nervous with men, others with women and some pets bond more easily with oner person over another.
