I've had a dog since I can remember. I absolutely adore them and will treat each one as my own. My husband and I have a huge love and respect for these amazing animals and have a beautiful rescue of our own. My Hershey came to me with her collar embedded in her neck when she was about 3 months old. We took her to the vet and had it removed and got her fixed later when she was old enough. We still have her today and she is still a bit skittish upon introductions, but once she gets to know you, the licking doesn't stop! She is the sweetest dog we've ever met. Especially good with our kids and she makes an incredible guard dog. We thought we were saving her, but it turns out she's saving us!
