Hi, my name is Maria. I'm originally from Sweden where I grew up with both cats and dogs. I have been dog sitting here in Berlin for the past 3 years. Everything from small to *extra* large dogs. Back home my family currently have two massive wolf/malamute dogs that are so precious to me.

Maria has been the most reliable, professional, and accountable caretaker of our beloved cat Femto for several years now. She is always quick to respond to our requests and has extraordinary communication skills. She understands both the physical and emotional needs of our cat and provides us with regular updates so we always feel at ease for however long we're away. Our cat struggles with separation anxiety, however, we have noticed a huge improvement since he's been watched over by Maria. I cannot recommend her enough as a pet sitter. We are hoping to get a dog soon as well and have no doubt that all of our pets will be in great hands whenever we go away. In our eyes, Maria is our best kept secret as a petsitter in Berlin.

My partner and I live in a 63m2 apartment on a quiet square close to several parks and green spaces. The amount and length of walks will all be tailored after your dogs needs. This can also include visits to the dog park for some zooms and play if that is something your pup enjoys :) I always make sure to send you pictures and updates throughout your dogs stay. We have a -dogs allowed- bed functioning as a sofa in the living room, but also don't mind letting them onto our bed for snuggles. I prefer to board one dog at a time with the exception of several dogs from the same house hold. Our home is pet and smoke free and we don't have kids. Since we live in an apartment very barky dogs are unfortunately not ideal. Drop off and pick up at our place.

A typical day
We are very close to the dog park in Mauerpark if you're dog enjoys socializing and playing with other dogs, but the area also offers calmer streets if that is more your pups style. Seeing dogs learn and develop is one of my favorite things and I'd love to engage in helping out with any training you might be doing with your dog. I have completed a dog CPR/first aid course as well as a basic dog behavioural course.
