Pet care experience
Hi, I'm a dedicated pet mom who has a home filled with love thanks to my 3-year-old Jack Russell Terrier mix and 4-year-old tabby cat, both of whom are truly angels especially around other pets. I know how much your furry family members mean to you, that’s why I treat them like my own, ensuring they’re happy, healthy, and loved while you’re away.
Reviews

Maria is very kind. She sent lots of pictures.

Maria was wonderful! Frequent updates and we felt so good knowing our dog was in such capable hands while we were away. Will definitely use again! Thanks Maria!

Maria was very accomodating and wonderful. My pet Yoshi Bear had a wonderful time. Would board again.

This was the first day care experience for us with recently adopted Tuxedo, so we were nervous. Happily, he adjusted well and enjoyed being with Maria’s dog, a win-win for all of us. We’ve already signed up for a next visit.

Safety, trust & environment
Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for your pets. My home is a pet-friendly, secure environment with plenty of space inside for pets to relax and play. Additionally, our backyard is fully safe and spacious, providing a perfect space for pets to run and have fun while staying secure. My own pets—a friendly Jack Russell Terrier mix and a sweet tabby cat—help create a welcoming atmosphere for visiting pets. I supervise all interactions closely to ensure everyone feels comfortable and safe. I love caring for dogs in a calm and stress-free environment and I’m only accepting pups who are not prone to excessive barking as both our dog and our cat gets really stressed with excessive barking. If your dog tends to bark frequently, especially at every little noise, my home may not be the best fit. Please share any details about your dog’s barking habits before booking. I appreciate your understanding!

Information Maria A. would like to know about your pet
Please Note: At this time, I am only accepting young adult and adult dogs. I am unable to accommodate senior dogs who may require special care or mobility assistance. Thank you for understanding! I want to ensure your pet has the best experience possible, so it’s important for me to know some key details about your dog before they stay with me: Temperament: How does your dog behave around other pets? My home includes a friendly Jack Russell Terrier mix and a tabby cat, so it’s helpful to know if your dog is pet-social. Routine: What’s their daily schedule like? Let me know about meal times, potty breaks, and preferred activities. Energy Level: Is your dog high-energy and ready to play, or more laid-back and looking for relaxation? Health Details: Are they up-to-date on vaccinations and flea/tick treatments? Any dietary restrictions or medications they need? Behavior: Are there any quirks or habits I should know about, such as separation anxiety or fears (e.g., thunderstorms, strangers)? While I’m happy to care for dogs with varying personalities and energy levels, I’m unable to accommodate dogs with special needs. My goal is to provide a safe, happy, and stress-free environment for every pet in my care. My own dog is very well-behaved and enjoys peaceful company, so I’m only accepting pups who are not prone to excessive barking as it stresses her and our cat. If your dog tends to bark frequently, especially at every little noise, my home may not be the best fit. Please share any details about your dog’s barking habits before booking. I appreciate your understanding!
A typical day
A typical day in my care is designed to keep your pet happy, active, and loved! Here’s what you can expect: Morning: Start the day with a playful romp in the backyard. Serve breakfast and ensure your pet is fed and ready for the day ahead. Midday: A walk or play session to burn off energy and get some fresh air. Quiet time indoors where your pet can relax, nap, or cuddle while I work nearby (I’m always just a few steps away!). Afternoon: Snack or treat time (if allowed) and enrichment activities like toys, or backyard exploration. Additional outdoor time or exercise depending on your pet’s energy level and routine. Evening: Dinner is served and followed by some cozy time indoors. Plenty of love, cuddles, and attention before settling in for the night. I place their beds in our bedroom so I am nearby and they don’t feel lonely especially it will be a new environment for them. Throughout the day, I ensure your pet’s specific needs are met, including potty breaks, medication administration, or any special care instructions.
