I'm currently the proud best friend and dog mom of a goofy Catahoula mix who is equal parts sweet loving pup and guaranteed handful named Charlie. I do work full-time (M-F) so my availability is limited. I work from home on Fridays and recently moved into a house with a fenced yard. If you are looking for someone to watch over your pup during the weekend, I'm happy to do so! I grew up with a German Shepherd mix named Savannah. She was the third daughter in our family - a good-natured sweetheart all 14 years of her life. I still remember the day we brought her home when I was in fourth grade. My sister and I learned the responsibility of taking care of a dog. We cleaned up after her, walked her, played with her and trained her. The bond we formed with our pup has stayed with me, and as an adult, finding a dog to befriend became a serious goal (only pet-friendly apartments for this girl) because I know how the unconditional love and companionship of canines enriches human lives. In addition to caring for my own dog, I've dogsat for friends. Charlie and I love taking walks, swimming, car rides and of course the dog park. I have experience with nervous dogs as well as those with separation anxiety. I also have experience with dogs who have special medical needs (medication, stitches, recovering from surgery, upset tummy, etc.). I'm always looking to make more dog friends, and would love to meet your pup!
