Pet care experience
I am a mature and responsible individual; I have had at least one dog for almost all of my life. After my 14 1/2 year old Weimaraner passed away, I started sitting for pets in my home, in their home and doing dog walking on the side - both for a contractor and on my own. I promise you that I will care for your pet as if he or she were my own pet.

I have known Mari for a number of years now, and one thing that has always stood out about her is how much she loves and enjoys being around animals, but mostly dogs. She's lived with dogs for most of her life so is very knowledgeable about their care and behaviors. She also had a number of dog-sitting clients before she relocated who would leave their dogs with her for days on end while they were gone on vacation or for work. I would absolutely trust her with the care of my own animals.

A typical day
We have an unfenced yard, but I do enjoy walking as long as the roads are not ice covered and the dog doesn't pull. We have a carpeted den in our house that we can play tug of war or fetch.

Availability
We're open to having pets in our home for day or overnight visits most any time. I work full-time away from home, but have flexibility to work from home or adjust my schedule depending on the needs of the dog.
