Hello, People who love their jobs are often heard saying, “I would do this work even if was unpaid.” That’s how I feel about caring for your dog. I’m a huge animal lover, but I can’t have a dog of my own where I live. As a result, I pour all of the care I would give to my own pup into caring for yours. I have years of experience taking care of dogs of all sizes. My first job was volunteering at a pet store when I was 8 years old. The store's live-in mascot was a Great Dane who was my height, and it was love at first lick. When I was 13, I helped a friend start her successful dog-walking business in Northampton, MA. Most recently, I cared for Sullivan, an elderly Beagle, as his walker and overnight sitter. Sullivan could no longer get up and down stairs, so I would carry him up to bed and back down throughout the night for bathroom breaks. I also administered his oral medication. As an ultimate Frisbee player and salsa dancer, I like to stay active. When your dog is in my care, he or she will get lots of outdoor playing time, long walks, and regular bathroom breaks. I will also continue emphasizing any training and good behavior if that’s something you and your pup have been working on. I am highly dependable, organized, and responsible. I like to have open lines of communication between myself and the dog’s owner so that I can best serve your needs and that of your dog. Whether that means checking in verbally at the end of the day, regular text updates, or a written summary of how things went is something we can decide once I begin caring for your dog.
