Margaret was amazing, caring and had wonderful attention to detail for our dogs need. Kept me informed and sent us plenty of pictures. We loved the care she gave to our dog.

About Margret

years of experience

Love dogs with personal attention!

My love of dogs is a lifetime thing, from being a little girl through parenting, I was always surrounded with dogs that loved me and our family and that we all loved back. It was something very special. Dogs are very special.

Our last dog passed on just before I decided to become a Pet Sitter. Something I am so very happy I am doing. Having so many dogs that are my "special friends that ...

What Margret would like to know about your dog

Every dog is different, so we want to know about the personality and behaviors of our guests. What are their preferences, what are their 'idiosyncrasies?' We want to make them comfortable and meet all their needs thus the more we know, the better we can provide a warm fun-filled experience. We have no preference in terms of breed, we just want dogs 35 lbs. or less--40 if you twist my arm!

When Margret watches your dog

Here's where we'll take our walks
We walk our guests in our neighborhood of private homes. We take socialized dogs to our neighborhood park and/or a dog park, depending on the dog and what we are told about her/his desire to play with other dogs or to be out in the open. We never unleash our guests, but we do try to serve the individual needs of our guests.

Your dog's sleeping arrangement
Most dogs like to sleep in their own beds & some dogs love their crates because they feel secure & know that no one can come at them from the back or sides and with their gate open they can gaze out or just sleep while feeling protected. Some dogs are accustom to sleeping on the bed of their owners, and so we sometimes have our guests sleep on our bed.

Time I'll spend with your dog
Most dogs want to be near a human, so we allow our guests the freedom of our house and they are with us all the time. They sit at our feet, sit on our laps, and are with us, as they are with you. We play with them (if they like to play indoors) with their toys, tugawar, or chase the ball four or five times a day. We take them out back to chase the ball or just to run and be free. We walk our guests in the morning and in the evening for 20-30 minutes each time. We give our guests a lot of attention.
