Animals and nature have been an important part of my whole life, and over the years have had my own dogs and also cared for many dogs, cats, birds and other critters professionally and for friends. I also have years of experience in house sitting and caring for high-end homes and high maintenance pets, including elderly pets and those requiring medications. I am retired from a career in massage therapy, and am available to be with your pet full time, as well as take your dog to the dog park and several walks during the day. Although I don't have a dog with my own at this time, pet care has been a regular part of my life for many years, and I enjoy the daily routine of attentive pet care including daily walks, eye care and brushing if needed. Your pets and I will follow your regular daily schedule for feeding and outings, and I will give them lots of quality love and attention. I'm experienced in following complex feeding regimens if necessary. Your animals will be safe, loved and cared for.

This is my 1st time ever leaving Oreo. I was very emotional not knowing what to expect. I had an unplanned situation that came up, and had to leave a few days earlier. Margot was willing to take Oreo a few days early with no hesitation. When I was leaving Oreo, I was very content that she would be in good hands. I felt at ease when I left. During my vacation, Margot was in contact with me with updates.
Margot was so great taking care of our three dogs. She was very communicative from the time we asked if she would be available, to the time we picked up the girls. My girlfriend has a very hard time leaving her dog with anyone, especially someone new, but Margot put her mind at ease almost immediately. She sent text updates and pictures daily, often more than once a day, which we always appreciated. She was so kind and loving towards our girls. Took them on walks, played ball, and had cozy time indoors when the weather got cold. We are so happy to have found Margot!
I have been taking my dogs to various dog boarding facilities in Santa Fe for the past year that were fine but there was always something missing. Then I met Margot. She is an absolute treasure! I don't worry about my dogs at all while they are in her care as she takes care of them as if they were her own. They have the run of the yard but also stay inside the house as their needs require. I receive regular texts of their activities that are full of humor and wit. My dogs used to have a little separation anxiety when I dropped them off at previous facilities but not anymore. They are full of excitement and don't even look back... Margot is a wonderful caregiver to my dogs and I recommend her dog sitting services without reservation!
Margot has lovingly cared for my dog, Suki, over the past 6 years that I have had her. She is thoughtful, considerate, honest, and gives 110% of her attention to Suki's wellbeing. Margot is a wonderful dog sitter; I highly recommend her!
