I grew up with dogs and rabbits. All my siblings have pets. I always help them out when they are in need. Not only do I stop by to see them, I stop to see their pets and to bring them treats. I walk them, play with them, and treat them with respect. Pets and children love you unconditionally and that is the best feeling. I can't imagine life without either. I would treat your pet the same. Pets are family and should be treated as such.
