I have owned dogs my entire life. For the past 20 plus years they have all been Cocker Spaniels and I currently have two, Cooper age 4 and Katie, age 2. There is a quote hanging in my home that says, “Dogs are not our whole life, but they make our life whole”. This is so true about everyone in our family. We love having dogs around us and could not live without them in our lives. Crazy as it sounds all dogs in our family have their own voices, and we humor each other with their adventures. Any guest dog is welcomed with tummy rubs, and kisses as if it was our own. I have cared for several dogs over the years, family and friends, and have enjoyed every minute of it. I am looking to start this business now to supplement my retirement in the future. I look forward to meeting you and your precious canine companion. ***Until I retire from my full time job, I will not be home during the day. So there would be no one home from approximately 8:00am until 3:15pm daily. If your dog is okay to stay alone in a home for that time period, or is crate trained I will be happy to take them. If it is for weekend care we are home most all of the weekend (with the exception of errands, etc.)

Margie and her family always treat our dog like he is their own! Scout loves going to Margie's home - cuddling with the humans, and running and playing with Margie's dogs. If we need to go away without Scout, this gives us peace of mind, knowing that he will be happy and well cared for! Thank you:)

My dogs are the love of our lives here and we would never jeopardize their health and safety as well as that of guest dogs. We require a meet and greet with your dog to make sure they are a fit. My dogs are very friendly and welcoming to all visiting dogs. At this time we are only taking two guest dogs at a time.
A typical day
We have a huge back yard that dogs will be walked on and we also intend to fence part of the yard in the near future so that dogs can run freely in this space. ***Until I retire from my full time job, I will not be home during the day. So there would be no one home from approximately 8:00am until 3:15pm daily. If your dog is okay to stay alone in a home for that time period, or is crate trained I will be happy to take them. If it is for weekend care we are home most all of the weekend (with the exception of errands, etc.)
