Pet care experience
Hello! I'm Margeaux (pronounced like MAR-go). I'm a 21 year-old New Orleans native, but I currently attend school at St. Edward's University in Austin, TX. However, I am home for the summer and am looking to take care of some precious pups! Having grown up with three amazing dogs, I have tons of hands-on experience. My first one, Coco, was an Akita. Eventually I got Rocky, a Dachshund, and Lulu, a Yorkshire Terrier. If it's not evident, I have dealt with dogs of all shapes and sizes firsthand. I have been dog-sitting for friends, family, and neighbors since I was about 7 or 8 years old -- tending to breeds ranging from Chihuahuas to Shih Tzus to Golden Retrievers to Labs -- and I have loved and succeeded in every experience I've had. My availability is very open up until mid to late August, so feel free to check out my calendar. I'm super flexible! I love dogs (and animals in general) so much, and make sure that each one is having the best time while they are under my care. It is a priority of mine that they are healthy and happy while being with me!

A typical day
My favorite place to take dogs on a walk, besides in their neighborhood, is City Park. It's one of my favorite places on this Earth, and I know of a ton of great spots. Whether your dog likes to socialize with other doggies or would prefer some alone time, I know of several nice places in the second largest park in America!
