My family got their first dog because I was asking to pet all the dogs as a baby, so I've been a dog lover my entire life and raised with dogs my entire childhood. I am experienced with dogs up to 60 lbs, and prefer to work with dogs that are a size I can lift if needed. I would love to get some extra steps in while hanging out with your awesome pups! I was the dog-mom to a French Bulldog named Stella who sadly passed at 10 years old in late 2024. I had her since she was a wee pup of 5 months old and with love and diligent care, my husband and I helped her to have a thriving life as a disabled pup, having been partially paralyzed at 7 years old due to congenital issues. There's a silver lining to every experience, and due to Stella's intensive health needs, I am now also experienced with: back dogs, dogs with mobility issues, dogs in diapers, and dog reactive dogs. As a mom to a "tough" pet, I know how hard it is to feel comfortable leaving them with someone else, but also how important it is as a caretaker to take a break!
