**Note: I am available to start homestays in the mornings in addition to afternoons and evenings.** Hi, I'm Margaux. I have 5 years experience taking care of cats and dogs of different sizes. I'm a fiend for kitty and puppy cuddles. After interning at a wildlife center, I gained years of experience feeding hawks, owls, turtles, snakes, and birds. I also have helped care for horses, goats, a bull, and various poultry. If your furry friend is energetic, I am happy to take him or her on a run, hike, or visit to the park. I am glad to match their energy level and give them whatever love or attention they need. I have also administered flea meds and pills to cats and dogs.

Margaux is amazing! She did drop-ins for our cats and it was clear from the start that she cares a lot for the animals she watches. She was very responsive and put a lot of info into her daily reports. It was obvious she was paying attention to them, as she mentioned a few of their personality quirks that she could only have noticed if she was focused on them! Absolutely recommend her for any of your pet sitting needs, we will definitely be using her again <3
Margaux has been a lifesaver these last few weeks! Our dog really enjoys the walks and looks forward to seeing her. Our dog can be a bit excitable, but Margaux is able to calm her down.

I want to make sure your pet feels comfortable and secure. **Depending on the extent to which your pet requires extra care, I reserve the right to add a surcharge. Upon informing me about such needs, I would let you know if extra charges apply. Some examples may include not being able to be left alone for more than 1-2 hours, incontinence or other issues, or requiring that I not leave your home for more than 5 hours total in one day.**
A typical day
I like to play with your dogs, whether it is doing tricks that they know or playing with their toys. We will also explore the sights and smells around your neighborhood or local park. If you request it, I am happy to drive your dog to a different location for a walk. I charge for the time spent driving your pet(s) from your home /pick-up point to the location and back, as well as a fee for gas.

I have plenty of flexibility in my schedule. I usually can do after 12 pm on weekdays and weekends. If you have any questions, feel free to send me a message. ** Note: Please don’t feel pressured to respond right away when I message you. I understand my working hours may not be your working hours, and your working hours may not be mine. :) I respect your time and your safety! Similarly, I may not respond to you while I am driving, with a client or during an appointment, or when I have no signal. (More rural areas and, oddly, some apartment complexes, parts of North Raleigh, and a pocket of the North Hills area don’t have consistent signal.) **
