Margaux is great! On time, easy communication, and our dogs love her!

To Whom it May Concern, A few months ago, I had a minor work emergency & was forced to leave town suddenly on a friday afternoon. My extraordinarily temperamental dachshund Cecile was having none of it. He took up a strong position, standing in my suitcase, whining & making huge eyes at me, his abandoner. Heartbreaking as it was, work is work & I simply had to go. So in a flurry I called a couple of folks, no one answers, so I try Margaux & before I finished the syllable of the word "dog," she was at my house, smiling at the door as I opened it. Mind you, this is a Friday night & people in Los Angeles have priorities, parties, biannual charity galas for the ringed lemur, & I have no doubt that Margaux's dance card that night was full of such possibilities. But do you know where she was, on a Friday night, still wearing the sequin dress & heels she had intended for a broader, more culturally significant crowd? In the foyer of my living room, whispering into an angry dachshund's ear, talking it down from the suitcase panic he had been soaking in for the better part of an hour. When I returned from my trip that Sunday night, unkempt & tired, I walked into my house, expecting the familiar patter of tiny claws on the floor. Nothing. I then conducted a brief investigation of the premises that ended in the living room where the two of them were asleep on the couch, small short-haired body in crook of arm, dog & human, bonded in the companion way, as though she had raised him, I shit you not, from birth. Two days. Zero to absolute adoration. This is all to say that there is probably no one on earth (apart from Tilda Swinton) that I would trust with my sweet little pup. She holds my highest recommendation & my most sincere gratitude. All my best, Julian
