***I am currently accepting dog walking requests in Olde Town Portsmouth area and drop-in requests in all of Portsmouth and Harbor View area. I only take intact male and female dogs on a case to case basis*** Hello, My name is Maggie and I've been gathering animal related experience my whole life from shelters, groomers, daycare facilities, pet stores, zoos, aquariums and from my own pets. My major in college was biology with an animal care focus and I have spent time in almost every aspect of the animal care field. I have over 10 years of professional experiences with dogs and cats. Small animals and exotics are priced as cats.

Maggie never disappoints! The best person to look after our simba. Wouldn’t trust anyone else. She goes the extra mile to make sure he is being well taken care of.
Maggie is awesome! She went above and beyond just walking my Jackson, and he always looked so happy in the pictures she sent. I would recommend her to family and friends without hesitation.
Maggie did not disappoint. This is our second time leaving Simba and we knew she would be the perfect person to take care of him. We will continue to use her services in the future.
My dog is not the friendliest to new people and she was able to get him to fall in love with her at the first visit! She kept me updated with massages and pictures.

I like to play fetch, go over whatever obedience training the dog is learn, and take dogs on walks during my stays. If your pet is housed in a crate, I will usually try to get them to "stay" or "sit" before I let them out. If they're a high energy dog, I will have whichever door open before I open the crate or I will leash the dog ASAP in order to guide them outside. We'll play in the yard first to get energy out, then we'll walk or train depending on care instruction. That's for a drop off or walk booking. With cats I take care of food and litter, then spend the rest of the visit petting, brushing, or playing with the cat. Unless the cat isn't interested!

A typical day
I live in Olde Towne Portsmouth and I really enjoy walking the boardwalk with pups. There's plenty of grass and walking space along the water! There's a park near the amphitheater (one end of the boardwalk) and a dog park on Middle Street as well, so I usually loop between the two. There is also a park called Paradise Park that is dog friendly that I like to go to for the shade. For dogs that are friendly, like car rides and have a lot of energy, there's an amazing dog park at Windsor Castle Park that's very fun and shaded.
