I want to specialize in small dogs because I have a 12-pound dog and, probably like you, I'm not always comfortable having her interact with large dogs. You never know when that prey instinct will surface. So this way, I can take my small dog with me when I walk your dog. I am very calm and gentle with dogs. I do well with timid or senior dogs. And I even have a pet stroller, if you have a small senior dog that can't walk long distances but wants to get outside. I have been a dog walker for more than 10 years. I have done drop-in pet care visits and dog walking services for many dogs including, one Shih Tzu, four Bassett Hounds, one Dachshund, two pugs, two Newfoundlands, one Chow, one Pitbull, one Black Labrador, two Bouviers des Flandres, one Doberman, one Golden Retriever, three Great Danes, various adorable mutts and several cats. I am very reliable and trustworthy. Your little fur kid will be safe with me. I love to train and compete in dog agility. You can watch videos to see how I handle my own dog. Margaret is absolutely great with my dog Millie! She spends extra time with her to get her ready for the weather and drying her off when she returns. Margaret is very patient with my energetic dog and even plays with her if she’s not tired from her long walks. The updates and pictures are great! I couldn’t ask for a better dog walker.

I prefer small dogs. I would want to do a meet and greet beforehand to see how your dog and my dog get along. My dog is very mellow and is good with timid dogs. In fact, at puppy kindergarten, my dog helped two different shy dogs come out and play. Please tell me if your dog has any food allergies. I usually bring little bits of cheese or Ziwi Peaks lamb dog food and offer to the dog when they do tricks or come. But let me know if your fur baby has a sensitive tummy. Also, please let me know if there is anything I should watch out for. For example, I walked one dog that freaked out whenever the UPS truck or similar sounding truck drove by. I watched a Chow and a Pit Bull and was told that they fought, so I never had them both out in the same area at the same time.
A typical day
We can go on walks in the neighborhood. If your dog likes playing tug or fetch, please let me know and we can do that too.
