Groomer in Training

Pet care experience

I am a graduate from the University of North Florida and am a current groomer in training at Pet Smart. I own one dog who is a rescue from Puerto Rico and is 3 years old. I have been pet sitting/caring for animals since I was 8 years old and my love for it has only grown since then. I had been persitting on/off my whole life and then eventually became a manager of a boarding/daycare facility for dogs and absolutely loved it. I moved on to a job as a veterinary receptionist/assistant at an animal clinic before going back to a job at the dog boarding industry when I moved to Texas. I have experience from dogs to cats to horses all the way to hamsters, guinea pigs, and rabbits, and even snakes. I’m using this platform to not only provide my services and I’m looking forward to meeting and caring for your critters!

Maggie put in the time and effort to make sure our pups got to know her some before the actual booking. We are very satisfied with the overall experience and look forward to booking her again.

Margaret (Maggie) was a joy to work with. My wife and I are very happy we found her!

Maggie is by far my first choice when I need a dog sitter. I have used her on several occasions, the last one for a period of three weeks over the holidays when I was away. During that time, she kept the house neat and tidy and stayed in communication with me on a regular basis, eliminating the stress of leaving my dog and house behind. Above all, Maggie is trustworthy, and my dog loves her. I would be happy to provide a personal reference upon request.

I always trust Maggie with my animals, and so does my entire family. Every time we travel from Florida to New York, she watches all of the dogs. She is a dependable and trustworthy caretaker.
