Pet care experience
I'm flexible and reliable, with 20+ years of experience with my family's dogs, and 15 years of experience house-sitting dogs for others. I'm familiar with working with skittish dogs that can be difficult to handle, dogs who just want to chase a ball all day, or I'm good with just cuddling if that's what your pet wants to do! I'm happy to do last-minute jobs for emergencies and am willing to discuss taking care of other furry friends (I have some experience with birds, and am willing to do some equine chores,) I am also willing to watch multiple animals. I'm always happy to discuss what I am and am not able to do, so don't be afraid to message me about your situation, I'm happy to see if it's one that I am able to accommodate!

I check food and water, give medications if needed, make sure animals have access to the yard if needed, and then spend the rest of the visit hanging out with them, whether that be playing, cuddling, or just chilling in the same room with them. Information Margaret S. would like to know about your pet
I like to be aware of any medications that your animal may need, and if there are any special dieatry restrictions in place. Along with food information, please let me know if your pet is shy or skittish around new people, or any other quirks to their personalities. There's nothing wrong with quirky animals, that's what makes them special, but I do like to be aware of those traits before I start the drop-in visits, so neither your pet or I am surprised!
A typical day
I'm happy to play with them in whatever outside acces your dog has (backyard, front yard), take them for a quick walk around the neighborhood, or go to the dog park if that is part of your animal's routinue. Please note if you want extensive exercise during a drop-in visit, it will require a 60 minute visit, not the standard 30 minute visit.

Availability
I work an 8-5 job 5 days a week, so I'm happy to drop in on my way to work, on my lunch break, and in the evenings. Weekends are a little more flexible for when I'm available for drop-in visits, but I do my best to make sure your animal(s) stay as close to their normal schedule as I possibly can!
