Pet care experience
Hello pet parent! I have a huge fenced yard and a very pet friendly house right on the American River Parkway. I usually pet sit on my weekend so your pet will rarely be alone! I have 10 years of Rover experiences with dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes. I grew up on a farm in the Sacramento Delta where we had countless rescue dogs and I’ve worked at a no-kill dog shelter with all types of breeds. I recently lost my beautiful rescue dog of 10 years who was uncomfortable with other dogs, so I am very familiar with this issue and my house is a perfect sanctuary for similar dogs. I am comfortable giving medicine and other special needs. I am very active, and love to hike, walk, and jog with my dog friends. Please contact me for any more questions or for a meet and greet!

My (recently passed) dog and I have lived in many environments, from a small city apartment, to a ranch in the country. I will respect any care instructions you leave for your pets and can easily adapt my services to match their needs. Typically at my house, I will let them in and out to the backyard whenever they want and will monitor them outside. I will walk them out in the park, but only on the appropriate leash/harness they are used to.

As a former owner of a skittish rescue, I like to be very conscious of a dog's comfort level with other animals. I am comfortable watching dogs who have fear/anxiety due to my own experiences.
A typical day
Walking, jogging, hiking, cuddling, playtime with toys and much more. I love to explore all of the parks around Sacramento, especially where I live along the American River Parkway in Rancho Cordova.

Availability
I usually limit my availability to the weekends as I work full-time in an office Monday-Friday. I am happy to do as many walks a day during the weekend as your pet needs. They will rarely be alone! Weekdays could be available for cats or very independent dogs.
