Pet care experience
I am a former dog nanny (there were children there too) and I absolutely LOVE dogs. I nannied in MD as well as for a family in Fort Collins, Co where my husband and I relocated from. I grew up with Samoyeds, and I was responsible for taking our last one to training classes. We worked our way through the advanced levels. I am very confident in handling dogs large and small, and I am happy to utilize any training techniques or things you're working on! We have a 5 year old husky (our child lol) named Dr Leo Marvin and two cats (Mildred and Martha). I watched Leo come into the world, and was there almost every day until he came home forever with us. Raising a husky has been amazing, and has given me a lot of experience in handling energetic dogs that pull. We use an easy walk harness, but I am comfortable utilizing whatever style of harness/collar you prefer.

Margaret Is the best, she sends me pictures and gives Steve our cat his much loved belly rubs. Emma gets her walk and potty break and lots of snuggling, everything is good and everyone is happy when we return.

We live in a large 2 bed/2 bath garden level apartment with two doors. No fenced patio, but we have always had our dog in an apartment so we are used to leashing up and going for several walks a day for potties and exercise. Our apartment complex has two dog parks, one being smaller and less frequented and this being my preference!
Information Margaret L. would like to know about your pet
It is always important for me to know if your dog is leash aggressive, especially if we are walking on trails where some folks think the leash rules don't apply to them.
A typical day
When weather is not too hot, we love going to Doris Ranch and Alton Baker for walks. The Eugene rose garden is pet friendly and a lovely walk provided folks pick up after themselves and keep pets off the plants. Sometimes on hot days when we want to get out, we drive to Washington park and play in the water play pad (while being respectful to the human kiddos). We love to take field trips to Wags dog emporium for pup ice cream or a frozen marrow bone. Of COURSE pup cups can be accommodated, however if you are not comfortable with transport, I am happy to make a pup cup at home!

Availability
I currently work for a local hazelnut and cookie company and my schedule is very flexible. I set my own schedule, however during the weeks between black Friday and Christmas I do tend to work longer hours.
