Pet care experience
I’ve lived with dogs my whole life! Grew up with two spaniels, started fostering pits and other large breeds during the pandemic and have spent tons of time caring for other pets in my life - family, friends and even new neighbors all have been able to rely on me to care for their dogs. I can drive to your home if there’s parking nearby, or I can also walk/bike if you’re near West Rox!

Margaret and her expert care is everything we could have ever hoped for! She has an intuitive, trusting manner that let Mica know immediately that she was safe, trusted, and cared for. Margaret asked the right questions, set up an environment perfect for Mica's comfort, and let her explore safely to her heart's content. When we arrived to pick her up, Margaret was laughing and playing with Mica, enjoying her antics. Our pup came home tired, exercised and happy. It couldn't be better; thank you, Margaret!
Maggie is AMAZING!!! Hank loved her from the minute we arrived, her communication and photos were the best!!! Couldn’t recommend Maggie more and will DEFINITELY be coming back :)
This was Mae’s first time staying over anyone’s house without me and Maggie did a wonderful job putting me and Mae at ease. She has suggestions of what to bring so Mae felt comfortable, sent me lots of pictures and updates, and was patient with Mae settling in. Mae had a really great weekend. Thanks Maggie!
Maggie was amazing with my dog Mae. Mae was very stressed from our move and Maggie was caring and patient with Mae being a combination of stressed, clingy, and exhausted. She had toys and bedding that Mae loved and Mae got to run out some energy in her backyard in addition to going for a walk.

At your home I will follow all rules or restrictions that your pet is accustomed to. I’ll be very respectful of your personal space and clean up after myself and the pet if I spend extended time there. I am also happy to wear a mask full time indoors if you prefer (I am fully vaccinated and boosted). In our home I will follow thee same instructions your pet is accustomed to. If you prefer they don’t join me on the couch, I’ll respect that! Otherwise they will have free range to explore my home, sleep on my bed and frolic in my yard ☺️

Let me know ahead of time if your dog has any special needs or dietary restrictions so I can research the best way to care for them! I am excellent at hiding pills in cheese, bandaging injuries and even carrying dogs when needed.
A typical day
I will follow your pets lead for activities they’re interested in. I love enrichment and can easily DIY a game or puzzle, I can take them on long/slow walks where there’s plenty of smells, or I can sit on the couch and cuddle. Our neighborhood has plenty of quiet streets so I love walking around the nearby blocks, or taking longer adventures to the Arboretum, the Pond or anywhere else we can walk to!

Availability
I am fully remote for the summer so I’m available for daytime walks during the week, plus some weekends when I’m not traveling to see family. In September I will be back in the office and only available Mondays, Fridays, nights and weekends - plus holidays! My prices are flexible to fit your pets needs and your budget! If your cats just need a quick meal and litter scoop, let me know! Or if your dog prefers 15 min walks, we can adjust! Just send me a chat and we’ll figure it out. 🙂
