Sharing the outdoor experience 💙
Pet care experience
I have an ample amount of experience with pets. At a young age I learned how to train and care for animals and have continued to do so my entire life. As an outdoor leader with a huge background in backcountry skills and first aid; your fur baby is safe with me. I’m quite passionate about the outdoors and I’d love to share it with your animal.
Reviews
Margaret has watched our two dogs, Jessie 5yo heeler, and Cooper, 4yo golden retriever many times. She is an active, outdoor person who will give your pups the exercise and love they need. She is diligent when it comes to particular feeding practices and is a respectful quiet guest. Would definitely recommend her for your furry loved ones!
Margaret did a great job of house sitting our big old dog. It was our first time working with Margaret and she kept us informed with text and pics. Our dog was has happy and so are we! Highest recommendation for Margaret!
Margaret goes above and beyond when taking care of pets. She has been a solid friend for over ten years and I would recommend her to anyone. She loves plants, pets, and good food! She is clean, responsible, and trust worthy. Very active..hiking, swimming, biking, boating, you name it. Puppy play dates! 5 out of 5

Safety, trust & environment
I always keep a close eye on the pets I’m caring for. With a keen sense of awareness for my surrounding environments I tend to catch things before they happen. My life for the past ten years has been caring for humans in an outdoor recreation setting; I’m confident I can do the same for your pet indoors and out.
Information Margaret D. would like to know about your pet
It’s important to understand their temperament, if they have any mental or physical limitations, such as allergies or a pre existing injury. I’ve socialized my pet from day one, but not everyone is as lucky, so it’s important to know how they act around other humans and dogs. How are they off leash? I’m not afraid to ask questions, and am a huge fan of making lists. ;)
A typical day
Mental and physical stimulation is key. I can help with training and am always up for an adventure. Hikes, walks or swims are my go to activities. If your pup doesn’t like the water, no problem. We can hang at the park or snuggle at the house.

Olive (my dog) is my main priority when it comes to how I spend my time. When I’m not traveling and adventuring with her I’d love to help care for YOUR pet. I absolutely adore animals and enjoy giving them the lives they deserve. In the near future I plan to further my education and return to school for Occupational Therapy. House sitting and caring for animals is an amazing way to help with those financial costs and save up for my future.
