I retired 10 years ago after teaching for 34 years and since then I have stayed very active. I can easily take care of 1 or 2 small dogs, cats or birds. I live in suburbs in a townhouse where all the pets I am taking care of will be free to run and play. I do have a fenced backyard. I am home most of the time so your pet will not be left alone for a long time. My last pet was a cat that unfortunately died last year so I will be happy to be able to have a pet around even it is only on temporary basis. Before taking care of your pet I would like to meet it in your home to make sure that there are no surprises later on. My preference is to pet sit in my own home but I can also stay at your house, for a short time.

Margaret was very patient with Leo. He is a nervous dog, and she was able to really take good care of him. Very much appreciated how she handled him. She very kindly dropped off his blanket the following day as i forgot it when i picked him up .

Margaret is excellent! I was very nervous to leave my anxious Maltese for the first time with a sitter! But when we met with her I knew he would be ok in her care! She kept me informed about him regularly and about the activities they were doing together. I was so relieved and somewhat surprised that he was very well behaved with her, which means he was happy and comfortable around her. I definitely recommend her and will leave Tiger in her care on my next trips. Thank you Margaret!!
