Safety, trust & environment

I can easily crate you dog or take them on a long walk. If your animal need meds as long as I know of them I can give it to them easily (ex. liquid or pill) unless I don't know how to ( ex. shots) then I will ask if you'd like to. If they need meds or food to be given a specific way like peanut butter with the pill or has a release command to get food. I'm willing to walk through the whole house as long as doors are unlocked and check for if they made a mess either vomit or poop or pee and pick it up. Blood does not gross me out and I'm willing to do anything for their safety.

Information Margaret C. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know if your pet has special things needed. For example, if any pets have a medication(s), slow feeder, release command, or lick mat. If the dog needs to be crated when left alone. If there are ANY allergies. If there are any routines like going outside, coming in, feeding or bedtime. Please let me know so we are all on the same page. I don't want your hard work invested into your pet(s) to go to waste. If they have any special/ favorite toy(s), treat(s), or game(s). Please inform me. And if they have any training specific tool(s) please let me know so I do not miss use anything in your house. Also, if their commands are in any language that's not english please let me know. Please inform me of any restriction's regarding pets in your city, town, or neighborhood. I would also like to know if there are any restrictions or reaction regarding your pet(s) I need to be aware of.

A typical day

I love finding new ways to give mental stimulation while playing with your pets. Things I do for example are training while playing fetch. Other games include tug-of-war. If allowed to get wet during the heat, we can play with a hose, sprinkler, or kiddy pool if provided. During the winter we can go outside to play and walk in the snow. I would love to take them on walks and enjoy the sun. However, if the temperature is too high causing the asphalt/ pavement to be too hot we will find other activities or with consent travel to the nearest, safest dog park with shade. If they have booties or some type of paw protection, then we can walk on the asphalt. I will be sure to put their safety first. This includes keeping cool and staying hydrated.

Pet care experience

I've always had at least one dog and one cat at all times. I currently have 2 dogs right now. I have experienced in giving pill and liquid meds to dogs. My one dog would always have to be given meds with something while my other one too with ease. I've had to help wrap my sister's dogs legs with her and by myself. My personal dog currently are a 1 year old 70 lbs lab mix (male) and a 95 lbs mastiff mix (male). My sister's dog is a 50 lbs boxer mix (female). My first dog was a 95 lbs rhodesian ridge back who died of sickness at age 13. And my second dog was a 95 lbs staffordshire terrier great dane mix who passed from cancer at age 9. And I've worked with dogs at under one but over 7 months. And I've worked with seniors. Nothing grosses me out in the sense of bodily fluids I can do all the normal.

Margaret did a GREAT job watching my two dogs and bunny for a week while my husband and I were on vacation. She even got our mail for us even though I forgot to ask her to. I got consistent updates and communication all week. My animals were happy and healthy when I came home and my house was still clean, everything in place.

Margaret took great care of our dog Nana and was respectful of our home while house sitting. I really appreciated her updates throughout the day. I felt at ease knowing she was with Nana!

Lots of experience with different dogs. She kept my dog company and took good care of her while I was away. Will likely be using her services again in the future.
