Dogs are sentient and capable of great love. I have had fur babies since I was about 10 years old, and I will love and treat your dog like my own with respect to your training style. My first dog was in fact not my dog at all, but my neighbors dog. She was a toy poodle and she loved us so much she used to wiggle through my neighbors gate, cross the street, wiggle through our gate and basically knock on our back door. We would let her in and I would call my friend and tell her that her dog came over and she would say "Okay, just let me know when you're sick of her." Which was never. She would stay for a few days to a couple weeks at a time and that's when I fell in love with dogs! Soon after that I had my own dogs and every dog my friends had I loved like my own, and when they passed I cried like they were my own. My dog Dubi just recently passed after a 16 year lifespan of love. I miss him terribly and frankly I cannot walk down the street without wanting to give my love to any and all dogs. He was an extremely handsome pom with a tinge of an attitude that was both cute and also sometimes challenging for people so I have quite a lot of experience with "difficult" personalities. Dubi was on medication for the last couple of years so I know how to administer most medication. I have always been very hands on with my dogs, they would go to get groomed, but I would regularly give them baths and clean their tears. I'm not sure if I can say enough how much I want to care for dogs, they are one of my favorite things on this earth and we are lucky enough to get to be friends with them.
