Pet care experience
I’ve been around dogs since I was born and have always helped care for others pets as well as my own. I have attended multiple dog/puppy training classes and know how to properly handle different temperaments of different dogs.

Marena cared for our Boston Terrier, Ruby for 3 days, over Labor Day weekend. We were very thankful she was able to watch Ruby on a short notice over the holiday weekend. Marena kept us informed daily with updates which we really enjoyed due to being our first time using the Rover App and being away 1 year puppy. We are comfortable to recommend Marena to others for their dog sitting needs.
We were disappointed that no one was around when we dropped off our dog for boarding. Marena was not there when we picked up our dog either, though 2 other family members were there. While we were away photos and updates were hard to come by and were only received when they were asked for. The place seemed nice and well taken care of but it is hard to be separated from your pet and not receive regular updates.
Marena and her Mom and Dad took such good care of our 3 pups! They were brushed, well-fed and very happy campers. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to board their dogs!!
We are so grateful for Marena accommodating our schedule changes. Pippa came home exhausted and happy. Thank you!

I have built an indoor and outdoor pen as well as a completely open garage depending on each dogs needs. I have multiple beds, blankets, toys, and comfort items to make sure each dog is as comfortable as possible. I always walk the dogs on leash once or twice a day down a trail close to my house.

The only information I would need to know ahead of time is if there is any aggression toward other animals or people. Of course if there’s any additional information I would need to know let me know that as well so I can be as prepared as possible!
A typical day
I love to take the dogs I board on walks down some of the trails that are next to my house. I always keep them on leash unless instructed by owner otherwise. There is a small stream I take the dogs to so they can cool off and maybe go for a swim.

I’m currently working part-time close to home so I have more than enough time to make sure your dogs are safe and happy! I am only gone some days for a few hours in the afternoon.
