We will LOVE your dog!
Pet care experience
We're a family of 3 (+1 on the way) and all of us are dog lovers! Your dogs will get lots of attention, cuddles, and playtime. We pet sat with Rover for about 18 months in Utah starting in 2019. We earned super high reviews, booking (92), and repeat (84) scores. We only stopped because we moved to Arizona and have been living with family for the last 3 years. Now that we have our own place, we are excited to welcome your furbaby back into our home! Experienced dog parents ourselves, we know the importance of consistency in training so will do our best to stick to your potty schedule and use your command words. We'll also be sure to send you plenty of pictures throughout your furbaby's stay. DETAILS: Dog Sitting is per 24 hours, rounded up. +$5 holiday rate +$5 puppy rate (Please note that rates stack, i.e. a puppy over a holiday is $+10, rate increases also apply to multiple dogs, i.e. 1st dog holiday is $30, 2nd dog holiday would be $25. Rover’s auto calculations rates fail to account for these situation so please expect modifications if they apply to your booking.) WHAT TO EXPECT: • Matt is a full-time Physical Therapist and Maren is a stay-at-home Mom and photographer. Our schedules ensure that one of us will be home with your pet almost 24/7! • Leave us a list of important command words - We want to speak the same language as your dog. When Rego (our dog) does something she's not supposed to we tell her "Unh-Uh" but if you say "Don't" or "No" we want to know. Same goes for other commands like Off/Down, Leave it, Stay, Etc. • Puppy Portraits! - During their stay, your furbaby will participate in a low-stress puppy portrait session with me! After their stay, you'll receive a link to an online gallery where you can download the images. :D • As our yard is currently dirt (hopefully not for long!), we are happy to give your dog a bath before pickup if desired. *We aren't dog discriminators - we won't judge based on breed.*
Reviews
Great experience - our dog was happy, seemed well adjusted and relaxed when he came home. Would recommend this family without reservation.
Maren was great! She responded very quickly and sent me updates on how my dog was doing. I would definitely use her again in the future!
We had a great experience with Jesse! Great communication and our puppy came home happy! Will definitely use again ?
Maren and family are very nice. Aside from one small incident, which was handled very professionally, the overall experience was very good. The level of care and concern demonstrated for our puppy was outstanding.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a fenced yard (currently dirt, we're working on it!) and 1 furbaby + 2 human babies to keep your puppies company. We are careful to keep anything potentially harmful to dogs out of their reach (such as our cooking ingredients), and human toys cleaned up so they're not tempted to chew on them. Dogs will either be crated for the night or confined to the laundry room.

Information Maren N. would like to know about your pet
Please send your furbaby with the following information: - A list of command words/signals (so we can speak their language) - Any medications, allergies, or things we should keep an eye out for. - Their usual schedule - Their vet information (just in case) Please send your furbaby with the following: - Collar/Harness + Leash - Enough food to get them through their stay - A few of their favorite treats - Their favorite toy (or two!) - Their bed, kennel (if they have one), and a blanket that smells like home.
A typical day
What our typical day looks like: - Wake up - Let the dogs out in the yard to go potty, or a morning walk if it's cool enough. - Feed the dogs - always done separately to avoid any potential issues that may arise from them eating the other's food or becoming territorial over food. - Bulk of the day - dogs play with each other/kids/humans/freedom to lounge. Might pull out a few dog toys, and maybe even have a dog treat treasure hunt to give those noses a workout. - Dogs are let out into the yard as needed/asked for, or every few hours depending on their needs/bladder control. - Human TV time - AKA puppy dog cuddle time. Dogs are typically allowed on our couch, but not on the beds. - Bedtime - one last trip to the yard and then tucked into kennels for a good nights sleep.

Being a stay-at-home mom means that your dogs have near-constant supervision, care, and attention. My photography commitments are usually in the evenings after Matt has returned home from work. Together we have plenty of time, love, and attention to give to your furbabies.
