Hi there, my name is Maren Burns and I would love to dog sit for you. I have been on Rover on and off for years and have had many happy clients - check out my reviews! I’m right off the Spring Creek Trail in Fort Collins, and working from home, so I have plenty of time to give your animals lots of love and attention. Can’t wait to meet you and your furry friends!

After having a bad experience with my last pet sitter for my angel Princess, I was a little reluctant to hire another one. Unfortunately, my circumstances didn’t allow me to leave her with a loved one. Maren was so welcoming and reassured me with all of my concerns. She was even sweet enough to set up a Meet & Greet before the actual daycare appointment just to soothe my worrying! She notified me beforehand of all the things she had planned for her & Princess to do that day & it just warmed my heart. I received several photos and updates throughout the day and when I got my baby back she was healthy and full of energy. I would highly recommend Maren & would definitely rebook her again if needed.
I normally would never allow a stranger to watch my sweet chocolate lab, Kyle. My partner surprised me for our anniversary and flew me to Barcelona and out of desperation I hired Maren to walk and feed Kyle while we were gone. He's a sweet boy but requires extra love and attention because he's a spoiled little guy. Maren took perfect care of Kyle and upon returning we found him happy and healthy, we couldn't thank Maren enough!
I cannot describe what an amazing fur-baby-sitter Maren is. Wadsworth, my purebred Bichon Frise, comes home from every walk happy and well-exercised. Recently, Wadsworth's veterinarian recommended he lose a few pounds as he's very lazy and pampered in our home. After a month of walk's with Maren, he's in the best shape he's been in in years! We're so thankful! He now waits at the door for walks instead of cowering in the pantry. I would recommend Maren 10/10 times.
I felt so comfortable leaving my dogs with Maren. I have two large dogs (90lbs and 55lbs) and Maren had no problem taking care of both of them. She treated them as if they were her own dogs, and I'd definitely recommend her to anyone!

I currently have an unfenced yard and large fully enclosed balcony (drywall - not fenced). So if your dog is boarding with me they’ll have plenty of supervised outdoor time with me on the balcony and multiple walks with me on the Spring Creek Trail - located right outside of my apartment.

Let me know if your dog has a favorite toy, special requirements, does not do well with other dogs, children etc. I will be sure to have their favorite toy nearby and keep them away from any pets and people on our walks if directed to do so.
A typical day
I love to be outdoors, and tend to spend at least a couple hours of my day “working from balcony”. When your dog is with me they can expect lots of extended outdoor time on the balcony with me and multiple walks on the Spring Creek Trail - located just outside of my apartment. With permission (and if your dog likes car rides) we can take a little drive and head to some other pre-approved trails I frequent after work.
