Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs, and have raised and taken care of 10 dogs. I have taken care of dogs, either for daycare or boarding for 7 yrs, on and off. I have received approx. 40 hours of basic dog training and I offer training on a "as needed basis" I am passionate about dogs and one of my dreams is to open up a huge dog rescue place for dogs that have been abused, or dogs that have been abandoned by their owners, and for strays. I would find them a suitable home with loving dog owners and if not, I would keep them all. I don't believe in putting dogs down just because you couldn't find a home for them. I have been known to "pick up" dogs from the streets no matter where I am driving, and if I see a dog that is wandering around, I carefully pick up that dog and take it home until I find its owner (providing they have a name tag, etc.) If no name tag, I have taken them to the vet to get help in finding their owner. I absolutely love dogs and I have an incredible connection with them. They take to me very quickly. Definitely, I have a knack for dogs.

Marcy took amazing care of our little Charlie for 3 weeks! We were a little worried that Charlie may take awhile to warm up as she is a little shy but at the first meet & greet I could tell right away that Charlie was a good fit with Marcy and her husband John. They are complete dog lovers and care about the dogs happiness which makes them feel comfortable. We did an overnight too before the long trip to make sure that went well which was a great suggestion. Marcy was great at communicating both for scheduling and keeping me updated on how Charlie was doing and sending photos of her as well while we were gone. They really bonded and I would definitely call Marcy again when heading out of town—I think Charlie misses her! Highly recommend!!
Marcy was wonderful with my dog, making sure to accommodate to our needs. My dog had a great stay with her and her dogs and I loved that she updated me daily with pictures. I would highly recommend Marcy and would book again.
Marcy is wonderful with our Tad she loves on him like he’s her own!
Marcy is a very loving person and took excellent care of our little Luke. He is eating better since he was with her. He always ate his food but left a portion that he finished later. Now he acts very hungry and eats all of it at one time. We will use her again!

A typical day
I have balls to throw in our backyard for dogs who love to fetch, which keeps them busy. And by the way, our fence is like "Fort Knox." No dog can escape! While inside the house, I will hold them on my lap and if they let me, cuddle with them on the living room sofa. Sometimes, I hand wrestle with some of my guest dogs.
