I have loved cats & dogs for my entire life. I've had furbabies of various sizes and descriptions, but all hold a place in my heart. Since it is vital to me that my own furbabies get the proper care, that is what I would provide as your furry friend's sitter. Medications are vital to a healthy life, so must be provided when and only as much as needed or prescribed by a veterinarian. Food is to be given on the owner's schedule to preserve the routine to which their furbaby(s) have become accustomed. Since my 5 cats are my babies, I would treat your kitty or puppy the same way. One cannot expect an animal to trust them if they do not first earn that trust. I will do that with any animal. Pet sitting is needed, especially when a cat or dog requires a specific schedule or is ill-suited to being alone during the day for long stretches of time. I understand such needs and will do my utmost to do what is best for each furry friend. Please allow for a 15 to 30 minute "meet and greet" prior to your first booking. Special requests for time slots will be handled on a first come, first served basis, so early requests will have priority over last minute requests if there is a conflict. Please plan accordingly. I live in South Reno, but will work with you depending on your needs. Due to my work schedule, I cannot accept sittings from certain areas. I am located near the intersection of Hwy 341 & 395/580. South Carson, Sun Valley, Sparks, and Reno are my limitations on travel for sittings. Reno and Sparks are the limits for drop ins. I am willing, if needed, to travel to nearby areas. Please ask if I can accommodate special requests outside of the assigned area. I am willing to work with any schedule, but I do request 48 hours' notice for any overnight stay. I can visit as early as 6am or as late as 9pm, for single or double visits in a single day. Overnight visits would be scheduled to begin at 7pm and end at 7am, unless agreed upon in writing at the time of booking your reservation. IMPORTANT NOTE: For anyone requesting 24 hour care with dog walks, please request both a Sitting and Walking service. Otherwise, sitting services begin around 6pm and ends at 8am with feedings and potty breaks during that time. I am willing and able to perform visits or overnight stays in your home only, at this time. I am available for single or double daily visits, or overnight stays, however for first time clients I do require the "meet and greet" visit first. This allows you to see how I am, and for me to observe your furry friend without a lot of stress to them. I tend toward over staying when I visit, especially if the furbaby seems to need more attention than can be afforded in the requested time. Also, as my own kitties are quite affectionate, I will offer your furry friend time to show me their choice of what type of physical contact they prefer. I'm familiar with the auditory and physical symptoms expressed by pets under stress, and will do my best to alleviate any stress they feel while I am in your home.
