I've lived with and cared for dogs for about 12 years. Over the course of my life I have had the privilege of loving and looking after over 6 different rescue dogs. I help my brother care for his dog by walking her up to three times a week in addition to scheduling and attending grooming and veterinary appointments for her. I watch my parents' dog when they are out of town. I walk my friend's rescue hound mix once a week while she's at school. I also have a dog with my boyfriend who we adopted when he was only 8 weeks old. We trained him together and (unfortunately) navigated many medical scares with him for the first two years of his life. He had three different operations, a very specific diet, and was on up to 6 medications at one time. He is happy, healthy, and recovered now, but I am no stranger to caring for sick dogs with specific needs. My boyfriend also has another rescue dog who I love and care for as my own when he is in and out of town. I am very lucky to have so many people that trust me with their furry family members. I am very comfortable with big dogs and puppies and have experience with dogs at all stages of life and health.

Marcy has been dog sitting, extensively walking, transporting and taking good care of my 5 year old Golden Retriever, Remmy for over a year. She’s communicative, available and flexible if I appoint a special time slot. And she’s great with dogs! A natural caregiver who has a lot of exposure to different breeds and temperaments. I’d recommend Marcy to give thorough time, care and attention to your beloved furry friend.
I adopted my hound dog at two years old, and while he is a perfect companion, I have learned the hard way that he cannot be off leash in an area that is not enclosed. He is large and strong, and can pull on his leash a lot when excited. This adds an extra source of anxiety for me when looking for someone to watch him. Luckily, I’ve found someone I can trust him with! Marcy regularly takes him on walks when I am at work, and has even had overnights with him during past vacations. My pup absolutely adores her and is so excited when he sees her! She is responsible and genuinely passionate about dogs. I have never had an issue with her services and would recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy person to care for their pet. Having her to depend on truly makes my life SO much easier.

I trust her with house-sitting while I am on vacation and she never disappoints. Marcy D. owns two dogs herself. They are extremely well behaved and she also takes very good care of them. Right now (winter months) my work hours are pretty much part-time. I do work weekends and nights, but there is a lot of flexibility in my schedule during this time of the year.
