Pet care experience
I grew up with family dogs, cats, birds, fish, lizards, hamsters and turtles. Over the years I’ve taken care of a lot of different types of pets. Our family currently has a Jack Russell mix named ShyGuy and an aquarium.

We have a large fenced backyard and pet friendly zones in our house for dogs. Our dog, ShyGuy, is a very friendly 33 pound playful dog. He loves meeting his friends at the dog park and having dog friends in the yard. I also feel comfortable taking care of birds, reptiles and small mammals if they are local and staying in their own home (home visits) or can be left with their usual crate, tank etc.

A typical day
We have a large fenced backyard with grasses and forested area to explore. We also have a great quiet neighborhood for walks. Also, if you approve, your dog can be taken for trail walks.

I currently work part-time at the local high school. This leaves me with Fridays through Mondays and summer breaks available for pets to care for.
