They won’t miss you if they have me

Pet care experience

I’ve been taking care of and trying dogs of all sizes and temperaments since I was in elementary school. I’ve been around aggressive hunting dog breeds such the apbt and larger mastiffs, giving me a lot of experience in dog handling from a dog as small as a Rat Terrier to ones the size of Great Danes

We chose Marcus to watch Jackson over Thanksgiving week this year. He’s newer to Rover, but I was once new to Rover too, and it can take some time to get that first booking. Well, it worked out green nicely! I took him first for a daycare, to make sure he’s a good fit for Marcus’ home. After that went well, I scheduled the week. I picked up Jackson today and he looks like the same Jackson I dropped off! He’s been taken care of, and didn’t even want to come home! 😀. I’ll use Marcus again, and I’d happily refer Rover clients to him if I get any requests I can’t take.

Our dog had a great daycare with Marcus and was treated very well and made to feel at home! Jackson will be returning to stay with Marcus over Thanksgiving!

Marcus is the best dog sitter I have ever had. You can tell he really loves and cares about animals. I have had separation issues with my pup in the past so I was a little nervous leaving her. Marcus went above and beyond for my dog Chloe and she really enjoyed herself staying with him. I will be using Marcus again and I know Chloe is looking forward to it. 5 stars!

I love Marcus! He is by far the best sitter I have found in central Florida. I have two little guys, Jeffrey and Bernard. They just love him! Just like at home, Marcus maintains their potty, eating, and exercise schedule. As long I love here, he is my go to.

Information Marcus T. would like to know about your pet

Any temperament issues, health issues, and things that may startle the dog are things that I would like to know. Along with a list of things the dog likes such as belly rubs, chin rubs, or any type of games.

A typical day

On a typical day everyone will get up and go to the yard to potty and get the zoomies out of them. Once everyone is all rested from their morning play session they will all eat (unless the puppy is on a specific schedule). They’ll wait about 45 minutes to an hour and we will go outside to play fetch, keep away, or just run around until I see that they are ready to go inside. After their nap depending on the size of the group and how they get along we’ll take a walk to the dog park in my neighborhood in the early afternoon, after about an hour or hour and a half (depending on how the dogs are behaving) we’ll head back to the house have some treats and watch some tv have a couple bathroom/run around breaks until dinner for the dogs that eat twice a day. I will also be doing any training that may have been negotiated at this time and or in the morning play/run session. After dinner the dogs will rest for about 45 minutes to an hour then they will use the restroom and run around until sundown if they are staying overnight. Then we will head back inside have a snack and it’s bedtime.

Please make all bookings by 4pm a day prior to prevent scheduling conflicts as I start planning my next day if I haven’t gotten any bookings. I’m currently a retired vet that spends most of my time with my dogs and or watching and training other peoples dogs in obedience or protection work so it fits perfectly into my schedule since it’s basically what I already do.
