Hello, Thanks for checking out my profile. Before going any further, if your dog is not crate trained, I am not your sitter. This is both for the safety of your dog, my dogs, and to be honest, the safety of my house. Your dog will not however spend a lot of time in the crate. I have owned six dogs in my life (2 Shepherds, 1 lab, 2 Schnauzers, and 1 Maltipoo). Right now I have one 15 year old Schnauzer, and one 3 year old Maltipoo. Both like to yap, but will calm down and both enjoy the company of other dogs. Your dog will be treated like one of the family at my house. We can go on "field trips," walks, trips to the dog park, whatever you want for your dog. Dog Boarding (your dog comes to my house): I do require dogs be crate trained, not that they will spend very much time in the crate. Things to bring: Dog Crate, Dog Food (please bring enough for two days more than your dog’s stay), Dog Bed, Medication Optional things to bring: Dog Blanket Things not to bring: Dog Bowls I will provide bowls, treats, and lots of love. House Sitting (I come to your house to stay with your pets): My price is a little higher than some sitters (some stays would come at a discounted rate, but we would have to discuss that), but for that price, I will care for as many dogs as you would like (or chickens, snakes, etc), I will clear my schedule, and be at your house as many hours per day as possible. I will put out trash, and bring it in. I will collect mail. I will do some light house keeping (we can discuss what you need). I can even organize some closets or cabinets if you would like. When you return home, your house will be just as you left it (maybe even cleaner). I do have two dogs that I would need to bring with me, but they are house broken and crate trained when I am not there. I have a home that I take great pride in, and will take care of your home as if it were my own. I hope it would go without saying but I will love and adore your dogs, just as you do. I am available most weekends and many holidays. I believe part of the reason you have gone through Rover is so your dog can have more individual care. The most dogs I will have at one time is 6, and this includes my own two. I am careful with the dogs I board together. Yes, I have had up to 4 dogs all sleeping on the bed at one time (of course, you will choose where you want your dog to sleep). I taught kindergarten for many years and believe myself to be patient and kind. In my retirement, I want to earn money in a way that I enjoy and is flexible. Since I love dogs this fits the bill.
