Marcia was FANTASTIC when she got less then 24 hours for a surprise visit from my pit! Llyod has severe abandonment issues and she had him calmed down in about 2 hours which is unheard of for him! I recieved updates about every half an hour or so which made me so much calmer being far away from him. Llyod got all the undivided attention that he needed to feel comfortable being away from us ...

Thank you. I think Cabal helped to calm Lloyd down too. When a scared dog sees that your dog trusts ...

Marcia was so extremely flexible with our hours - we were in from out of town and our puppy couldn’t be left alone for long hours. Her dog was very friendly and the second night we dropped Gus off he was excited to see both of them! Thank you Marcia and Cabal!

Because our dog is getting on in years, we greatly appreciated Marcia’s emails and pictures, reassuring us she was doing well. We were very pleased to find a place for Pippi that was home-like rather than a kennel without human contact. Hooray for Rover and hooray for Marcia.

Home full-time, affectionate sitter

My cats are kept in a separate area so I can sit dogs that don't do well with cats. I have a very pet positive home and we so enjoy our little visitors. I have grown up with and always loved dogs of all types. My family had everything at one time or another... Toy Poodles and Pugs to Saint Bernard, Great Danes, Pit Bulls, and Rottweilers. All pups welcome young and old. <3.

What Marcia would like to know about your dog

Just what makes them comfortable for instance my daughter's dog likes to have you put a blanket on her at night and mine likes one to lay on. My daughter's dog gets a treat every time after she goes out to poop. Let me know anything that will help your dog feel at home.

When Marcia watches your pet

I live on a short dead-end street with very little traffic or noise. If your dog requires exercise it is readily available. We live by the Kenduskeag stream nature trail, also a lovely place to walk. I think the best thing though is your dogs will know we enjoy them and are caring for them. They will be kept separate from our dogs. Our dogs are nice but tend to play rough and I will not even risk any playful nipping. We also have tons of dog toys. Your dogs and mine (and my daughter's dog when my daughter is here) will take turns being the ones able to get on the beds etc for love and cuddles. A system my dog is familiar with that has worked well for a long time.
