Pet care experience
I’m not only a dog sitter, but I study dog psychology and dog training and I am working on receiving my certificate in both dog training and dog behavior. I’m passionate about providing exceptional pet care for your doggies. This is something that has followed me my entire life due to my affinity for dogs. Starting when I was 14 years old, when I began watching my neighbors poodle while they traveled. I take the well-being and happiness of dogs very seriously. When you book with me, peace of mind is something you will ALWAYS receive as a pet parent. I actually do not think of pets as pets. I see them as family. They deserve our respect and our unconditional love. As someone who has been in pet care for nearly 12 years now, I am knowledgeable about proper feeding, the importance of exercise, feeding schedule, and administering medications if needed. Due to my many years of experience as a hands-on petcare provider, I have a very strong and reliable background in animal behavior and welfare. This means that I am able to determine and identify potential health issues and behaviors in dogs, and I am able to quickly take the right course of action in order to maintain the safety and wellbeing of your pet. I am more than confident working with dogs who have special needs and who may require more attention and care, as well as those dogs with chronic medical conditions. The reviews and the repeat clients do not lie! Your dog will always be supervised, fed, played with, and loved! My only warning is - they may not want to leave! :) It's incredibly important to me to provide a safe, loving environment for each dog that is in my care. Remember, while your dog is here, they are family. I will treat them as my own and I will always keep you updated with fun photos and videos!

Check in: 3:00PM - 8:00PM Check out: Between 9am-12pm *Picking up your dog late will result in a $25/hr daycare fee for each hour after your reserved pick up time. * Please be as transparent as possible about your dogs temperament, training, medical and dietary needs, triggers. and socialization levels. Social anxiety, potty training, and how often they socialize with other dogs is important. Dogs who are dog-reactive or show any signs will not be accepted. Your dog should be comfortable being in a home with up to 4 dogs at a time. Sometimes there are less, depending on how busy it is. There is always one dog here, my corgi Orson! Orson takes his job as the doggie host very seriously. He welcomes all dogs warmly and always makes them feel right at home. Don't hesitate. Book now!
A typical day
Stimulating dogs both mentally and physically is something I am passionate about. We'll explore new smells around the neighborhood, play games such as hide and seek, and go on adventures to the dog park! Making a stop at Davey's for a pup-cup on the way home from the park is always super fun! *I walk the dogs 4 times per day and always try to hit a park where we can play fetch and run around. When people hear that I can take care of up to 4-5 dogs at once, some have the misconception that my place must be a madhouse where the dogs go wild and wreak havoc. That couldn’t be further from the truth. While we’re home, the dogs match my energy, and tend to just do whatever I do. They love to follow me around. After all, they know I’m their person! The most dogs do while inside is play a little tug-war and chew toys. I like to take breaks every hour to get down on the floor and be silly with the dogs. This is when they get excited. It encourages the dogs to let loose and release some energy. I truly think they appreciate it.

Since I currently work from home, your dog will always be supervised, and I am always present to meet their needs. My day consists of feeding, exercising, grooming, and establishing a consistent, effective routine for your dog and with my experience, I am well-prepared for any unexpected needs or events. For example, if your dog becomes ill or needs some special care, I will ALWAYS be available and determined to make sure your sweet pup is in good hands and well taken care of. Of course, every circumstance is different and requires a unique course of action, but due to my experience and commitment, I will always plan, communicate, and do what needs to be done in order for your dog to be in the best care possible. Unlike doggy daycares who sometimes leave dogs unsupervised throughout the night, I will always be there for your dog 24/7. What I think separates me from doggy daycares and other Rover sitters is that I always make an effort to build a friendship and bond with your dog. This means that I will set aside personal time to spend time with your dog (alone without other dogs present) and build a connection with them based on trust and I want your dog to feel comfortable and safe in my home and like he/she can trust me. Instead of having a "my house, my rules" mentality, I want your dog to really feel respected and like they can trust this new person to keep them safe and meet their needs. I recommend bringing their favorite treats so that your dog and I can run through some training exercises together as it's one part of building a connection with them.
