I have over 8 years of training and care giving experience in over 20 different species of animals ranging from livestock to dolphins. My life has always involved animals. Growing up we had at one point 20 pets (chickens to an iguana). I continued and expanded my animal experience when I decided to pursue a Bachelors degree in Animal Science from Texas A&M-Kingsville. Equipped with my formal education, I started a career at the Texas State Aquarium where I learned how to train an array of species using operant conditioning focusing on obtaining desired behaviors through positive reinforcement. When I left the aquarium I branched out to the veterinarian side of the industry. Finally, I made it back to training and decided to focus on dogs because they are such an integrated aspect of our day to day lives. Now, after a years of calling South Texas home, I was delivered to the island of Oahu. I currently work as a marine observer, taking my love for animals to the ocean. I collect data for conservation and mitigation. When I’m not out at sea, I want bring love and fun into your pets life. Being around God’s gentle creatures is truly where my heart sings!!! I understand that our pets are not just an animal that lives with us but they are family! Their well-being is a priority. Consistent exercise and compassionate caregiving will create a happy, healthy pet!
