Pet care experience
I was born an animal lover! I grew up around two dogs and three cats total, and throughout high school, I walked and dog-sat for four years and loved it! When I left for college, I experienced some serious animal withdrawal. I currently have two rescue cats who have grown up around dogs and foster kittens alike. I recently moved to downtown Silver Spring and am available for dog walks and dog or cat sitting at your home. When your ball of love is in my care, he or she will enjoy an enormous amounts of love and care, as if he or she was my own. I have also pet-sit for all sorts of animals! I've taken care of rats, mice, guinea pigs, bunnies, hedgehogs, birds, fish, turtles, snakes, and other reptiles. I would happily help take care of your whatever type of pets you may have. My sister is also a vet tech and a current vet school student so I have a direct line to everything I need to know about keeping your pup healthy and happy. I have been known to go above and beyond to take care of the pets I'm sitting for, and all are sad to see me go, so I assure you they will be loved and well taken care of when with me!

Dogs were happy
Marcella was great with our 2 dogs and 2 cats! She was very responsive and we got lots of cute pictures. I will definitely be booking again, and would recommend her to anyone that has a senior dog.
Marcella was amazing with our very active and needy chocolate lab. She sent us regular updates and kept us in the loop everyday which helped us relax much more on our vacation. We had never left our dog alone before with a dog sitter so we were a little worried how our dog would do but Marcella did amazing! Thanks so much! We will be booking again when we need to travel next. We loved all the pictures you sent too!
Marcella is an absolute blessing. We have never had such peace of mind leaving our 4 crazy kitties with someone. She sent pics, fed them separate foods, administered medicine, scooped their boxes and left the house immaculate. She communicated things to us perfectly and even left us a little note about what each cat did over the weekend before she left. We will definitely be asking to use her services in the future.

For my puppy/dog clients, I always stay overnight to ensure the pup stays safe and is not left alone (unless otherwise requested). I am happy to crate your dog or have him/her sleep with me in bed, according to your preference! I always make sure to constantly communicate and send pictures, and will respect any requests you may have during the stay.

A typical day
I absolutely love taking dogs out on long walks, car rides, or to a local dog park. I always make it a point to ask what what type of exercise a dog enjoys, so that I can provide him or her with a fun stay or walk!
