Pet care experience
Our pets rely on our care and love and it's what we want for them even when our schedules dont let us provide it. You found the one. I am happy to care for your pet as if it were my own. Sweet talk, cuddles, walks, the works. Ive cared for special needs pets, hyper pets, lazy pets, i love them all. A little about myself, I work mostly from home. But I enjoy art, running, yoga, and meditation (usually with a pet on my lap). I grew up with lots of pets and really enjoy sharing my time and space with their company. I have a lifetime of experience taking care of dogs of all ages. I pride myself in understanding dogs/animals very well, thus, being able to respond to their needs. When your pet and I hang, I strive to encourage and reinforce positive behavior and distract from negative behavior if needed. My husband is also a dog lover and helps so much with the energetic fun side of things. Together were an amazing doggy duo and were more than happy to dog sit for you! - The dog has to be tolerant of other dogs because I have two at home (Chihuahua and Yorkie). They are guarded at first, but quickly become accustomed. One of our dogs will become playful with some time. - Small breeds are preferred because of our apartment size. - If the dogs need medication I can handle that just fine, but I need to know the schedule. We have a dog with mild epilepsy who I give meds to every day. - High energy is fine because we go on walks. - Low energy is wonderful because it's easier and relaxed! :P -
A typical day
First off, cuddles and sweet talk are guaranteed if they are welcome. I pride myself in good dog communication/ basic training that I practice regularly with them. Relaxing music is regularly on that helps the dogs mellow out in the house. Dog walks are two to three times a day and I enjoy exploring my local area with the doggies company. We play fetch, have many dog toys, and maybe even a treat to reinforce positive behavior.
