Pet care experience
I'm currently in a place in life where I cannot yet have my own fur-baby, but would be thrilled to borrow yours! My family has had cats & dogs my entire life. I have years of experience dog sitting for friends & family. Plus, I have a Bachelor's Degree in Wildlife Biology, so I have a true passion for animals.

Marcee is amazing! She checked in thoroughly about our needs and instructions, and she made me feel super confident about leaving my two big dogs with her for their walk. Marcee was great for 4 days of house and pet sitting. She met with me and my pup beforehand, reviewed expectations before the visit started and kept me updated with photos and walk reports multiple times each day. She left my place looking great after she left! Murphy will definitely be looking forward to another visit with Marcee.
Marcee was amazing!! She cared for my 10 month old pup as if he was her own. Took him out on hiking adventures, found streams, played in the ocean, She gave him love and good care at home. Her communication was clear and thoughtful. She was easy to plan with and reliable. And the house was clean upon my return. Pictures multiple times a day. The perfect trustable pet sitter. I love all puppers & feline friends. I do not discriminate against any personalities, needs or breeds, but it is nice to know what energy level to expect. :) I'm a good listener, so please let me know if you as a Dog Mom or Dog Dad have any preferences on the style of care that your fur-baby needs!
A typical day
Do you need your pup to be worn out? Rover is a fun way for me to stay active, while simultaneously playing & caring for animals, a true passion of mine. House-Sitting: When you purchase my House-Sitting Service not only do you have peace of mind that your house isn't sitting empty, but I will also give 100% of my attention to your babies, while they're in the comfort of their own home! I will give frequent potty-break walks, one 30+ minute exercise walk per day, and endless play-time & snuggles. Walks: Walks are designed to exercise your pet. When you purchase a 30-minute walk, expect your dog to be walked, ran and/or jogged for a full 30 minutes. When we return home they will receive a water refreshment, treat, and lots of love before I head out. Drop-ins: Drop-ins are designed for potty-breaks & lots of attention! When you purchase a drop-in visit you may request that I take your dog for a short walk around the block for a potty break. The rest of the visit will consist of play-time, snuggles, & treats. I'll walk & run for 60 straight minutes or play tug-of-war until my arm falls off, but am also excited for when your doggo is warn-out and ready for snuggles. <3

Availability
I live in Live Oak and can easily travel to any areas of Santa Cruz or Capitola to watch your pups! I work in the evenings, so walks during the day & in the morning is best for me. My shifts are short, typically 6 hours, making it desirable for me to housesit - please contact me & I will be transparent about my schedule to ensure the best care to your furry babes.
